Medieval-style apartment in historic center

Lucca, Historical Center. In the medieval winter palace of Buonvisi, now monumental, is located this attic, about 160 sqm, very bright (7 rooms) on the 4th floor (soon there will also be an elevator, up to the landing below), roof redone and insulated, in 2008: redone stairs with iron handrail in Lucchese style, sandblasted the ceiling of the loggia on the ground floor, flooring of the landing and loggia redone in old terracotta tiles, video intercom and, along the stairs, plasterboard panels at the ceilings where new light, water and antenna connections run to the apartment. In the attic, the entrance-loggia has large arched windows, which when opened turn it into a veranda; the large kitchen has a stone sink, original, probably from the 15th century, and masonry hearth (with stove top) in typical Lucchese style. The ceilings with chestnut and cypress bricks and beams are original, never replaced, while the floors, for more than half the surface, are the original ones in bricks. Also large are the living room, with fireplace and small loft, one of the double bedrooms and the bathroom (the plumbing was completely replaced in 2000), where a small antique iron balcony opens. The other room is of medium size, however double, also there are two storage rooms and a room with low ceiling. At the end there is a room, where the washing machine is located, which could become a second bathroom; with some modifications it is possible to have three rooms.

This property is a very characteristic object in our Lucchesia, in fact it preserves a completely medieval mold, a feature now rare to find and ideal for an investment.
