A Residence of Rare Magnificence at the Gates of Porta Elisa
Just a few steps from the vibrant heart of Lucca’s historic center, beyond the renowned Porta Elisa, stands a residence of extraordinary prestige: a noble palace dating back to the early 19th century, originally conceived to host the diplomatic corps of the Buonaparte Baciocchi Principality. This stately building, surrounded by refined Italian gardens, still preserves the aura of elegance and grandeur that has defined it for centuries.
Within its walls, on the second floor served by a convenient elevator, lies this exceptional apartment of 309 square meters—a true example of a period residence brought into the present, where aristocratic charm meets contemporary functionality.
The interiors unfold in a harmonious sequence of majestic, light-filled salons, distinguished by ceilings soaring up to 3.41 meters, infusing every space with breadth and monumentality. Tall windows, architectural detailing, and the exquisite proportions of the rooms evoke an atmosphere of representation, equally suited to a refined private residence or a prestigious hospitality project.
The main floor houses the majority of the living spaces: expansive and versatile rooms ready to be reinterpreted according to the new owner’s vision, maximizing the historical essence while embracing modern comfort. On the upper floor, an additional bedroom and bathroom complete the residence, offering further flexibility and personalization.
This is a rare property, where the nobility of history meets the convenience of modern living—an architectural masterpiece destined for those who seek not just a home, but a work of art to inhabit.
